Policies & Fees

Dance Images Dance & Music Center, a dance & music Studio in Merrimack Valley MA, has been successfully operating for over 30 years and in order to continue to bring you the best possible training, we must ask you to adhere to certain policies and procedures.

ATTENDANCE

  • Attendance is extremely important in your development. Make sure that the class day and time is convenient to your schedule so that you may progress. If for some reason, you cannot make your class, you should call the school to inform the office of your absence. In the event that you must miss a class, you should check with your teacher for the day and time of a make up class that is best suited to your level.

DRESS CODE

  • Our Dress Code is mandatory for all students. You will not be allowed in class without your proper dance attire and appropriate footwear.

LATE ARRIVALS

  • Late arrivals disturb the class and deprive the late student of proper warm up time. Please be on time for class to insure that you get the most out of your training.

TUITION PAYMENTS

  • Tuition payments can be made by 2 easy payment methods:

    • 1. Auto-debit from checking account

    • 2. Auto-debit from credit card

  • Tuition is based on a yearly fee divided by 10 or 12 months, depending on the program chosen, thus making all 10 or 12 payments exactly the same. Ex: 1 hour class/week is $860.00 for 10 month program = $86.00/month regardless of number of weeks in the month.

REGISTRATION FEE

  • Our Registration Fee is $35.00/per student and is due upon registration. There is a $70.00 maximum registration fee for families of 2 or more students.

RECITAL

  • Recital information will be posted in the fall when the facility has been verified. Dance Images Dance & Music Center is a "recital" school and all students are expected to perform. Each student will be required to be at dress rehearsal in order to perform in the show.  Click on Schedules & Important dates for recital and vacation dates.

COSTUME DEPOSITS

  • Costume deposits are due on November 15th ($50/per costume). Each student will be measured for his/her costume during class. Costume deposits must be paid in order for a costume to be ordered. Costume deposits are non-refundable. Once a costume has been ordered, you are responsible for payment, even if you have withdrawn from class.  Costume balances are due January 15 (balance information will be posted for each class in your parent portal). Tights are included in the price of the costume. Each costume is ordered from the costume companies sizing chart.

SNOW DAYS

  • Snow days will be decided on a day by day basis. In case of inclement weather, call the studio for any cancellations or check the class cancellation page on the website. We do not always follow the school cancellations. Make-up classes for any cancellation will be addressed by your teacher.

HOLIDAYS

  • Holidays are as posted on our Important dates page. We hold classes on most Monday Holidays. Please check the calendar.

PHOTO WEEK

  • The beginning of May is Picture Week.  Class, as well as individual, photos will be taken during class time. An email will be sent out closer to May about the specific week.
